The Law of Attraction is powerful and very effective at giving you the means to create the life of your dreams. But the Law of Attraction is activated by what you're thinking and feeling - what do you do if your thoughts and feelings are not working well for you? How can you stop yourself from thinking negative thoughts, and feeling negative? These things can get in the way of the Law of Attraction. In order to stop their influence you need to remove them and fill your mind with alternate thoughts. You can get started with that by examining things at your core.
Look at what you really want in life. Just why do you have your goals, thoughts, and intentions? What is it you really want? Now look at your beliefs about yourself. What did you think about yourself in childhood and in your adolescent years? How many of these beliefs were negative, and which ones do you still hold? Look at these negative beliefs objectively and work to root them out. If you felt like you were always being told "you don't work up to your potential" (for example) then really examine that belief. It could still be holding you back now, and influencing your thoughts. Even when you want to do something you may find yourself thinking "I just can't do the work for that, even though I know I'm capable of it. I never follow through or work to my potential."
But the truth might be you didn't "work to your potential" when you were young because you were being forced to do something you hated. Or maybe you learned that "not working to your potential" was a convenient way to get out of hard work. Realize these roots to your beliefs and realize that you can change your beliefs. Work through all of your negative beliefs in this way.
Now take your positive intentions and keep those with you. Whenever you find yourself getting stuck in a negative rut, refer to those intentions and affirmations. Recite them over and over again. The more you say something, the deeper you drive it in.
Also re-frame situations. Write out some statements to help you when you're feeling down. Here are some examples:
"There is no such thing as failure. Only feedback."
"Problems are a sure sign you're on the road to success."
"You will find that victory is closest when you are ready to give up."
You can create statements like these to re-frame many challenging situations in your life. When you look on those situations "in a new light" your mind is able to think positively.
Spend time looking for all the things you're doing right, and all the things you're getting accomplished. Don't dwell on what you do wrong. By focusing on your positive intentions and the things you're doing well, you keep your mind positive. "Like attracts like" so by monitoring your thoughts and keeping them positive, you attract more positive situations into your life.
